You can't always trust that your doctor will know what the inert ingredients
are in an inhaler.  My allergist is the one who prescribed Advair.  I was in
the midst of an asthma flare up caused by anaphylaxis from dairy.  His office
had no idea.  I'm the one that figured it out and told them!

They wanted to put me on Serevent, but it had also been switched over to a
diskus inhaler and also contained milk proteins.
