Hi. I tried the tip of using 3 T cookable vanilla pudding to 3/4 cup soy
milk that was mentioned back around Thanksgiving to make fudge. The result
was a grainy pudding like consistency. Because I'd put nuts into I couldn't
say it was pudding, it was awful for fudge. I made the fudge the way this
"easy Fudge" recipe said, which was stirring just until the chocolate was
melted. For the vanilla pudding to work, you must have to bring the soy milk
and pudding to a boil and then cool it to add chocolate. If anyone else has
tried this, I'd like to hear about it.
On the positive, I tired the silk soynogg with Kosher parve non-dairy
dessert topping in the spray can and liked it alot. It was just like the
eggnog everyone else was having. For Chicago area peope, this is the first
year I noticed the non-dairy dessert topping at Dominicks. Maybe this is a
new Safeway product.
About the milk free meals at McDonalds, I believe each McDonald's has the
option of purchasing their buns locally, which means some may have milk. I
belileve mine does this and bring my own bun for fast food sandwiches. Happy
