Bronwyn, are you getting enough other bioavailable protein. If I don't get
several servings of a high quality soy-based protein drink per day, I start
fantisizing about beef, candy, etc. All I have to see is a pizza commercial
and I'm dying for mozzerella cheese. I have heard of people who could eat
allergens while pregnant, but not other times, and people who were sensitive
during pregnancy, and not other times. I'm not suggesting you try this, but
it is possible your body is "calling" for some protein of some kind. I
haven't had beef to speak of in 7 years and suddenly in the last 6 months I
find myself wanting it. I've experimented a little and seem to be able to
tolerate at least a little. Maybe I'm over that sensitivity. I can always
hope. Carrie
