I have purchased small CPU sensor modules with remote probes that monitor
the temperature at the probe. The company was ahead of its time, and went
out of business.
I also have purchased CPU heatsink/fan assemblies that also had a
temperature sensor and alarm built in...
I don't know where to get any of these currently, but at least someone "used to"
