This is the first time I've posted a question - so thanks for your help!
Here is my problem.
Have a standard G6-400 Gateway, with a Seagate ST T2000A tape backup added.
 The backup worked fine until Office 2000 was added.  Now the tape backup
gives the error "A required .dll file UISERVE.DLL was not found".  The
software and driver has been removed and reinstalled with no change.  The
uiserve.dll file is located in both c:\program
files\accessories\backup\system and C:\program files\seagate software\bacup
exe\system.
