To the best of my knowledge, I am casein allergic and LI.
I believe I have been allergic all of my life, noticeably
symptomatic since my teens, and only figured it out when
I was 38.
My son is 13 and is suddenly showing major signs of LI.
I avoid dairy as much as possible without being
fanatical about it. I use rice milk and Nucoa margarine.
I can always tell when I've had something with dairy
in it, but it's not life threatening -- just something
I have to live through. More than anything, I miss cheese.
This list has been a huge help in finding out which
products are milk-free.
