The Arabs have occupied these lands, too, perhaps as long as the Jews. The Jews I wrote about as leaving their distant places and heading for the Holy Lands are the newcomers who swelled the Jew population and expanded the Jew communities onto Arab soil. > The Palestinians are on the other side of that bet, that it is a hoax. > They fought the Jordanians and lost. > They fought the Lebanese militia and lost. > They fought the Kuwaitis and lost. > They have repeatedly fought the Israelis and lost. Their weapons were not as sophisticated as those used by their opponents. In the future, they might easily be upgraded, and striking from within while teamed with neighboring external forces, might be a war to watch. While Israel might triumph even in this scenario, it would certainly be a bloody and costly win. > The Israelis want a certain border of land. More power to them. When you find out exactly where this border is to be, will you advise the rest of us? As for the Israelis being willing to "nuke those who want to mouth off", I hope and pray you are very wrong. Nuking begets nuking which means what the Israelis want as a place of their own is no longer there to be occupied. I say, less power to them. > Matthew McDaniel Jack Morris [log in to unmask] http://www.thepalmerpress.com/welcome.html
