This is incorrect. The 4.0x series was the last series that had a
standalone browser option. The 4.0x series was also available as a full
suite (browser, mail, news and html editor). The 4.x series is available
only as the complete suite. The browser was essentially the same for the
4.0x and 4.x series. There were some bug fixes (which in turn created
some bugs) and security plugs. The main differences in 4.0x and 4.x
series were seen in greatly improved mail and news. Hope this ends the
confusion.
