I was confirming the proper installation of the "Eyedog" patch and got the following "confusing" results. The "Dword" value shows up as a "hex" value in my registry. Anybody know if the patch is "still good?" Microsoft Security Bulletin MS99-032 http://www.microsoft.com/security/bulletins/ms99-032.asp http://www.microsoft.com/security/Bulletins/MS99-032faq.asp The FAQ says I should have this: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE Key \Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{06A7EC63-4E21-11D0-A112-00A0C90543AA} Name Compatibility Flags Value Dword:00000400 My registry says this, (branch export): REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{06A7EC63-4E21-11D0-A112-00A0C90543AA}] @="" "Compatibility Flags"=hex:00,04,00,00 I tried to submit a WEB report to MS, but they demand a 20 digit Code for MSOE v5 and mine only says "this product is registered" (A WEB glitch, or a peak at things to come...?)
