I also have had the same experience with the flu and I only get it once every 2-5 years. Cuts seem to heal faster too. ` [log in to unmask] -----Original Message----- From: Paleolithic Eating Support List [mailto:[log in to unmask]]On Behalf Of Erik Hill Sent: Sunday, December 19, 1999 2:40 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [P-F] chicken eggs/salmonella Hopefully, I'm not speaking too soon here! A vegetarian friend of mine, Micheal, and I both got the flu at the same time. In me, it never got so bad as to have to stay in bed (although I had a mild fever, coughing and congestion, and several other little problems). In Micheal, he was in bed for four days! I seem to be basically recovered, he's up and mobile, but still looks rather bad. My fights with infection have been going more my way since the paleo diet. I think that the differences we experienced have a lot to do with the diets we are on. If you need C, try strawberries or kiwi. They have a LOT of it.
