Hello Dave, Saturday, September 11, 1999, 6:20:34 PM, you wrote: DJ> I have a friend that uses AOL and whenever he tries to DL a picture from the DJ> internet either by DJ> right clicking and saving as or just DL'ing it his only options are to save DJ> as either an .art file DJ> or .bmp. What is an .art file?? is that an AOL thing? he would like to keep DJ> them as .jpg. Try to view this file with JPEG and GIF viewer, disregarding the .art extension. While it is possible that AOL reformats every image it meets, it is highly unlikely. Much more probable that it is only given a new extension and AOL browser still can see the contents. .bmp can be converted to .jpeg with almost any graphics editor. +=-. | Max Timchenko [MaxVT] | [log in to unmask], [log in to unmask] | (ICQ) 238-6792 | | Freelance website and graphics designer | Max Webdesign at http://maxwd.hypermart.net | | Editor - Graphics artist | NOSPIN group +=-.
