Several have e-mailed me to say they have enjoyed the cream of
mushroom/chicken/celery soup or sauce.  The question was asked if it
could be frozen.  I froze some to find out.  I put it in a plastic
freezer container--a small enough amount it was not hard to defrost.

Results:  It tasted every bit as good frozen and thawed as it did fresh.
I fried a hamburger patty tonight and then added some mushroom sauce on
top and heated.  It hit the spot.  That should be a help for busy cooks
who would like to make it and freeze it for another time.
