The question was asked if it could be frozen. I froze some to find out. I put it in a plastic freezer container--a small enough amount it was not hard to defrost. Results: It tasted every bit as good frozen and thawed as it did fresh. I fried a hamburger patty tonight and then added some mushroom sauce on top and heated. It hit the spot.
