I am the site administrator of 3 networks at a local school. Two of these
networks use client for ms-win as their primary log-in. The machines are
also set up to reject invalid log-ins. The problem is that when a student
types an invalid domain in the login dialog box, the machine returns the
windows login dialog (2 line box with no domain line) and lets them in. The
problem is, of course, that they are unable to access any network resources.
Several students have discovered this and enjoy playing tricks on their
peers by typing invalid domains in the login box and leaving it sit there
for the next student. What I need is a way to lock down the domain name or
have Win95 return an error message when the domain is invalid.
I have checked microsoft.com and the only solution they have involves
non-tool free support. Does anyone out there have a solution to this
problem?
I would appreciate any help at all.

Thanks in advance...
