I have just installed the DVD Rom and MPEG-2 decoder card in my system on the secondary IDE channel as master. I also installed the Program DVD Player.and the latest drivers from Creative website.

The problem is when I play the DVD player , This message always comes out onscreen "The program did not detect any CD-ROM or DVD-ROM player connected to the system. Please check that the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM is properly connected." I can play Audio CD's ,MP2 audio Cd's and install programs from CD's without problem.

I cannot even play the Wing Commander IV DVD disk on the unit. I cannot open the DVD Player program to adjust the settings shown on the manual. I tried Creative Labs tech support but only got recorded message and runaround.

My system is P-166 Pentium ,96MB RAM ,6.4GB + 3.1 GB hard disk, ZipDrive and running Windows 98.
