Hard drive(s) are a tough subject. There are
too many variables to have "one" hard and fast
answer to a lot of common questions.
With that said, I use FAT16 all the time,
and have always set up partitions larger than
1G. I usually limit myself to 1.99G (as reported
by Explorer|Properties) to limit my slack losses
as much as possible.       Rick
