The following is a simple recipe for chicken rice soup I have found tasty
and easy to fix.  Especially good with corn tortilla "sandwiches" on a cold
afternoon.

     1 LB +/- diced chicken
     1 1/3 cups uncooked rice (white or brown)
     4 - 5 teaspoons (or cubes) Herb Ox chicken bullion
     6 cups water
     dash of garlic powder
     salt and pepper to taste

     Mix all ingredients in a large pot or soup kettle.
     Apply medium heat until the water boils.
     Reduce heat and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes.
     Makes about 8 servings, can be frozen.
