Yes, you were right I had a CHI virus. And after I finally figured out how to use the anti-virus program the virus was eliminated. In the process of trying to eliminate the virus, I installed my copy of Norton anti virus. The program automatically did a live up-date. But because of the virus the program was corrupted. The emergency disk that I was prompted to make after the live up-date, did the trick. I really didnt think the disk would work. This was my first virus. I still had to remove and reinstall a new copy of Norton Anti-Virus and its live up-date after the virus was removed. Thank you for the help! Terry L.
