Does my plan seem OK > --------------------------------- As I've read from a number of posters here, (and I am assuming you are running Win9x) you should have no problems with this plan as long as you boot to safe mode, go to Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager and remove ALL devices before shutting down the old system for the removal of hard drive and other components. Win95 should re-detect everything and 'align' all of the old and new resources when you boot up after installing all of your components. Be sure, of course, to take the necessary CMOS HDD recognition steps and disable any COM port which may conflict with a modem, as well as have any driver disks ready (though the drivers ought to be in place for any of the transferred devices).
