If your system is capable of 450, it must be running a BX motherboard so try overclocking your 300A. It should certainly reach 450, but might go as high as 504. You won't notice the performance difference between a P2 at 450MHz and a Celeron at 450 MHz ( or 504MHz ), but your bank will! > -----Original Message----- > From: Ronnie Thum [SMTP:[log in to unmask]] > Sent: Sunday, November 08, 1998 2:49 AM > Subject: HARDWARE : Celeron 300A or PII350 > > Hi, > > I need your opinion on the following setup : > Everything suitable for a PII350 to 450 but using a Celeron 300A. > I thought of upgrading to a 450 later when the price goes down. > Is this setup better in the long run ? > > > TIA > > Rgds > ronnie ----- PCBUILD mailing list - http://nospin.com Bob Wright:[log in to unmask] - Drew Dunn:[log in to unmask]
