Besides some natural fruit-imanent properties,
one suggestion:
Because they are usually produced in very big farms with the usual
pesticide and fertilizer use, and because they are usually treated
with
a *very* awful substance "di-ortho-phenol-somewhat.." at their skins.
The skin is considered to be taken away and so the applied amounts are
high.

Often, allergy symptoms disappear when switching to organic produced
(and treated) fruit with oranges, bananas and also other food items.
