In a previous post, I gave two apparently contradictory situations. Banning peanuts from lunchrooms because of possible harm to allergic people vs. not allowing a tree to be cut down, even though it threatened the health of an allergic child. There is a common thread. In both cases, we have government expanding its power by limiting individual liberty . We have a lot of this lately. Government, and quasi-government groups telling us what to eat, drink, or even smoke. (No milk for children over two years old) This list provides us with information and opinions. Sometimes valid, sometimes not. We should be free to use this information, to live our own lives as we see fit. Simon W Hecht
