Hello List!  I recently searched the archives for info. regarding potato
chips in general.  I really didn't find what I was looking for, and was
wondering if anyone could help me.  How is it that most potato chips are
made?  Are they fried with other types of chips that are not gluten-free?
My husband recently ate some chips that were made with cottonseed oil, and
he mentioned that they tasted a bit like barbecue chips.  He did get sick
from them.  Are we supposed to call each manufacturer to find out the GF
status of each kind of chip?  He's stayed off the chips for now and has
been fine.  Any help would be appreciated.
