There seems to be something of a research boom going on regarding personalizing
diets. And I think its a good idea. I havn't read D'Aamo's book but it did get
a positive review in the June 97 issue of The Townsend Letter For Doctors and
Patients. Along with D'Adamo book, I'm pretty sure Ann Louise Gittleman has a
newer book out about individualizing ones diet. The summer 97 issue of Dr.
Gabriel Cousins Newsletter has fascinating origional research on
individualizing diets. This article is available on the web at
http://chiron-h.com/tol/center. Or Dr. Cousin newsletter is available in printed
form for $5.00/YR (I believe). And then theres ayurveda lifestyle and diet
balancing techniques. I have found ayurveda to be simple and effective in
individualizing ones diet. Ayurveda seems to be a good combo with a raw vegan
diet. The recent interest in individualizing diets is,imo, a sign of the
maturation of nutrition research.
