Barbara asked about eating worms. Some cultures consider them delicacies. Usually cut in short sections and fried. French and (some) Americans eat snails. Our most recent pre-primate ancestors were insectivores. Many modern primates still are insectivorous omnivores. Many human cultures eat insects. Insects are fine nutrition: very high protein, much fat of good quality, substantial fiber in the chitin. Barbara mentioned urinary and digestive problems. Antibiotics often unbalance gut bacteria and allow Candida albicans to flourish leading to various problems. Acidophilus is beneficial here. Complete elimination of anything that nourishes C.a. is important meaning no sugar, no grain, no yeast. Some digestive problems yield well to kombucha.
