While I don't feel qualified to evaluate the whole of your reference
material, I mostly got the point. Do you think that the data your dog
and mine download from our shoes alters their behavior? Do they ignore
us if it appears we've been stepping on each others toes, hide from us
if we've been kicking someone who's down, avoid us if we've been
climbing ladders, or comfort us if some one claimed us as territory?

Sparky just came up and gave me what passes around here for a hug.
Sparky doesn't much care what I wear. While she is interested in what I
smell like, her main interest seems to be what I have in my hand and
what I'm going to do next. Me too.

Howsomever! Sweat pants ALL the time? I think there's some marital
advice needed here...I'll be glad to send it to you in another 40 or so
years when I've got it all figured out.
