Here's an update to yesterday's post about Binney and Smith, makers of
Crayola crayons. Linda Ritter got someone *slightly* more helpful than I
did, and that person is sending her data sheets on each B&S product.
Suggestions from others (thanks for so many!!!) include:

1) calling again, and speaking to a supervisor in customer service
(leave an urgent message with your name and phone # if no supervisor is
available);

2) asking for that supervisor's supervisor;

3) calling the president of Binney and Smith;

4) calling B&S's legal department;

5) making sure that the customer service representative understands that
wheat, oats barley and rye, which are not technically poisons (so
poisonn control would not deal with them), but are toxic to _your_
child.

Also, thanks to Bobbi for her post to the list about children's art
supplies, glue and gluten, etc.

Binney and Smith does not have an e-mail address listed at their
web-site (http://www.crayola.com). They list snail mail only (which I
don't have in front of me). So if you want to help inform them, you'll
have to do it the old-fashioned way. (1-800-crayola)

Healthful blessings and art-filled dreams! Amy
