I came across (and even bought) a raw foods recipe book in a secondhand book store in Milwaukee over the holidays called, "EVERYTHING RAW: The No-Cooking Cookbook" (by Jennie Reekie, 1977, Penguin Books) I'm not much into raw recipe books these days but couldn't resist this one (for $2.48): The Chapters are listed in this order: Fish Meat Eggs Dairy Vegetables Fruit I was blown away. There isn't a bit of raw foods idealism banter! It looks like the author was suprised to find that there were so many foods which could be eaten raw and may simply have been hired by the publisher to collect the recipes with a raw foods angle! What a kick! It may be the first, only, and last non-vegetarian raw recipe book ever published. I wonder how many ever sold! :) Cheers, Kirt
