Sandy, Your refrigerator (and countertop) sounds delightful! I'm in love! My refrigerator contains everything under the sun because I live with 4 SAD folk and one possible future raw fooder in the making. But if you just count my stuff, I've got 4 24oz bottles of Pines Green Energy barley grass (I buy in bulk from the mfr to save $ over retail), a few quarts of organic apple cider vinegar (which I no longer use except for cleaning the interior of my distiller tank), about 7 lbs bee pollen, some spray-dried beet juice powder that I rarely eat, a 1-lb jar of digestive enzyme powder recently purchased, 1-2 lbs of vitamin C crystals that I use sometimes (especially to prolong the refrigerator-life of juiced veggies), a 4+-yr old package of mochi (waiting for Ward to come & get it!) in the freezer. Also in the fridge are the following biodynamic veggies from my CSA farm: a head of nappa, a few winter radishes, a few rutabagas, maybe a beet. Tomorrow is my weekly pick up, so soon there will be more. Outside of the fridge I have jars of sesame seeds and various grains and legumes, which I eat raw after soakihg or sprouting, 2 small biodynamic pumpkins and another winter squash whose name I know not, 2 recently purchased bushels of organic apples (should last about 2-3 months), and a multi-year supply of honey (about 50 lbs). Oh yeah, I also have maybe 10 lbs dried org fruits left over from last winter. (I tend to rehydrate and eat only when fresh organic fruit is not cheaply available, which is only in fall-winter). On order from Jaffe's, but not yet arrived, are 25 lbs org almonds, 15 lbs org medjool dates, and 25 lbs org sprouting oats. Also on order from a biodynamic farm in Ontario (should arrive next week) is 20 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes and 50 lbs carrots. I'm stocking up for winter. So, are you sorry you asked, Ward?
