Wow. This sounds like me exactly. I've been eating lots of fruit and high carbs for about 10 years. I've always liked sugar, but now I feel as though I need it. What are other symptoms of hitting the wall? If one's diet looked like fruit in the morning, salad for lunch (with nuts), fruit for a snack, and another vegetable thing for dinner...how would you modify it for less sugar. I know Sandy has mentioned oatmeal in the morning? Is it cooked or soaked? Would it be worth it to add raw milk cheese? This sugar thing is probably related to why I am still so attached to bagels. Please any info would be great. I received an e-mail from 'my concerned' bother in Manila about my not going to the wedding. he claims I backed myself into a corner or something like that. The commnuication with him makes me upset, so some more silence might be the perfect antidote, Thanks for the encouragement. Has anyone used liquid lecithin. I saw it today and was wondering what to do with it! Didn't buy it. Did buy a rutabaga for the first time. Kind of bland, but a nice consistency. My tongue is still sensitive. I think it may becasue I eliminated spices, most salt, etc. in May. Do you all think that most people eating an SAD diet have pickled tongues from all the salt and chemicals? Not all food bothers it, but the following do... grapefruit, tomato, avocado, oranges.. and toothpaste, but that's not food. It also seems that I have a very tiny white blister that pops up here and there. Usually at the tip of my tongue. Most important is the sugar info. What kind of food intake does this person have? Does anyone know a glycemic food table index on the web? Thanks everyone. Meredith
