<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> I am biopsy confirmed celiac woman, GF for about 10 years, age 38.. I've been getting an unusual rash for about 5 years. I'm looking to see if anyone else has had similar rash. I've seen numerous dermatologists, some with a high degree of celiac knowledge. Had biopsies sent to Yale/New Haven Hospital. No one knows what this rash is -- it's not DH. The rash appears as follows: - only appears on legs, thighs to just below knees. - from 2 to 4 bumps appear at same time, 1 bump in different areas - starts as tiny, pimple-looking, red bump - grows, if untreated, to look like Lyme disease rash -- bulls-eye shaped, white in center, red around (been tested many times for Lyme which have all been negative) - extremely itchy - seems to respond to medication Temovate - goes away for a while, perhaps months and comes back again Most dermatologists think it probably has something to do with celiac, but definitely not DH. However, I am carefully GF. Anybody have anything similar? If you want to respond privately, please send to MACDRP@AOL.COM.. Thanks. Mary Collins Norwalk, Connectict
