My wife is celiac, diagnosed about 1.5 years ago.  A friend with irritable
bowel/lactose intolerance advised recently that goat cheese is okay.  My wife
now enjoys goat cheese frequently with no lactose intolerance symptoms
whatsoever.  Try it.  Also, I believe that feta is also from goat.
