<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Humous (sp?) is one of my favorite dips. Since it requires chickpeas, I have ground them down in a food processor before. It comes out a bit grainy that way. I haven't tried them in my Kitchenaid yet, but imagine they would grind down even better there. One warning, there is quite a bit of juice involved, but I imagine that could be put to good use as well. Sarah Rogers
