Subject: My studdying paid off:

Yesterday I took my final class and passed my extra class license.
Some of the people that have there extra class said that even though you had
to learn the code befor they thought that the test was kind of difficult,
with the mosfets, and new things on it.
I would like to see some of the old radios, so I could really touch the
circuits, and understand by touching and maybe building some radio.
I realize the new radios are on circuit boards, and all, but I would like to
have the oppertunity to build something, as some have talked about that were
hams in the 50's and 60's.
I have got my hf antenna back up and the concreet is porred for the tower.
It is a work in progress.
Also congradulations to Ashley in getting the ticket, you can have lots of
fun with contests, and meet lots of people. Enjoy the hobby!!
