Many of our community members have seen the rather inflammatory media coverage over the last few weeks of an Australian study on gluten sensitivity. In our new article "Fake Gluten Sensitivity or Incendiary Journalism" http://www.celiaccommunity.org/incendiary-journalism/ I take a look at the study and media coverage, and Amy Burkhart, MD, RD, helps to put it in a medical context.

If you haven't heard of this study yet, you probably will sometime soon, whether you have celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, as some well-meaning relative, friend or waiter will probably express doubt that you really need to be on that gluten-free diet. This article is intended to give you the resources you need to respond with facts, grace and perhaps a bit of humor.
