Are you doubting the authenticity of the independent authorship of this magnificent and disinterested piece?

I know Cous. I think these people really believe they're smarter than the rest of us dummies. There's no other way to explain this suicidal tendency. It is better they die trying to remove Yahya than do so just trying to scam the idiot. What is wrong with these people????

Haruna.

The man is a hustler and I had warned him that his schemes are elementary. This whole GRTS thingy is much to do about nothing, but about a fraud trying to get in bed or pick the pocket of a fellow fraud in Yaya. You read the below joke and you tell me whether a balanced person with integrity will entertain such nonsense in their head about their importance and the rest of the crap that is consumed in his head, etc. He postured before that he had the backing of wealthy friends outside Gambia and that he is successful and can do this and that, which we all know is Con 101. Now he is trying to pick the pockets of the Sarahule community to con them into financing his habits and by now am sure they smell the stink. This is the same fellow that went to Gambia and loitered around only to wake up one day to say that his money was stolen or he was robbed and had the nerve to ask for people to send him money - I read that some where. We all know the rottenness that obtains in the Gambia and what Malik, Manga, or the other clowns in the script are doing is no news either. The bigger story is the Snake-oil Con that is this Aminata fellow. We have seen the Henry Gs of this world still trying and each time he is met "on all fours", as George likes to quip. However, they will die trying for it is in their blood. They do not know any other way to exist. Fast and loose is their style. I gave you 10 points for figuring out that the Con himself is the "Whistle Blower", as he tried to lull the unsuspecting that he is ill and about to die in bed. We have an abundance of such outfits in our midst and we cannot be silent about them. If you read about this fellow long enough you will have no trouble figuring him out and his fellow crooks know what they are dealing with. I say let them consume each other.

Yet, they still line up for the set-up to their humiliation and I say they deserve all they get and then some, for they went in it eyes wide open driven by their Greed. It has been 19 years and they keep coming like Never Die.

I cannot believe that he is still hanging around the Gambia and GRTS trying to get a job by impressing the dictator. I also think Lamin Manga is acting on higher authority though Sankanu can be right. The interesting thing is almost 6 months after his auditioning of Gambians, Sankanu seems nowhere near filming or at least preparing to start filming his movie.

> Dear Maafanta Editor, I read with keen interest the section of Sankanu’s sad article on his loss in which he requested the people contacting him to ask the Director General (DG) of GRTS why his Interview with Malick Jones is not on air. Sankanu wrote that he promised to not write an article on it. He is denying the Gambian public the right to know. GRTS is a public institution paid for by the taxpayers. It is subject under public accountability through the parliament and court of public opinion. Transparency, accountability and probity are among the principles of the APRC Government, I think. Whatever right and wrong work that takes place at GRTS must be in the public domain.

> I am member of GRTS Senior Management Team and I was seeing Prince Sankanu waiting in vain within GRTS complex for the past three months. At times I asked if he’s appointed a watchman. I was told he is following up on his TV programme proposals and interview appearances. One day I came to greet him. When he narrated his predicaments and how his time is wasted, I said that is not fair. They should tell him something serious. I started my own private investigations inside GRTS and countrywide to know the truth.
