Rhonda,

This has happened to me and several times to Sandy.  She checks our bank account, since we mostly use a debit card, two or three times a day and catches it before the bank does.  I think the most it was used was 150 dollars for one purchase.  What the scammers do is write your number and info off your card down.  We had a pizza place we used we thought it was happening at, and then they order via the net or phone for a few charges and then toss it away.  People at restaurants, gas stations, department stores, you name it, will collect and sell these to the people who pay them to use someone's card.  It is a crime cops cannot keep up with due to the volume of card account theft numbers nationwide.

Phil.

Subject: my debit card has been scammed

I tried toorder a pizza today only to have them say my card was rejected. Upon  further investigation I saw charges from Miami publix and a gas station and Martials……go figure, my bank shut down my card since most of my charges are in Ga…..go figure!!!!!

About 400 dollars worth…..

We are ok money wise though, just hate to see people can be soo mean.
