I don't know if the one by Zircon is still made. It was called the "video level", since it has a small LCD display. What makes it usable by the blind is that it emits a steady audio tone when either level or plumb. It's only 10 inches long, but can be attached to a longer straight edge if needed. Got mine in 2005 from one of the blind product suppliers. Around $35 at the time. Not sure it is still made, but Zircon makes a lot of stud finders and stuff like that, and it may still be around. 73, Steve KW3A On 5/15/2012 9:52 PM, Robert C wrote: > In planning to redo my office/ham shack, I decided I should get a > talking level but cannot seem to track down who sells them, Cobalt > apparently used to make them but they no longer list any on their site. > Any help would be appreciated. 73, > > Quote of the nanosecond... > "Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing left to add, but when > there is nothing left to take away." > --Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944) > Robert& Dreamer Doll ke7nwn > E-mail- > [log in to unmask] > Home Page- > http://webpages.charter.net/dog_guide/ > > >
