Hi Eddie, I've been using IE9 with JAWS 13 for some time without any problems. It seems to work fine on both my Dell and HP Laptops and Toshiba netbook. 73 Ron Miller -----Original Message----- From: For blind ham radio operators [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Eddie Sent: Monday, May 21, 2012 10:41 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: ihello Harvey, you're doing the right thing, I work for the division for Blind services in Texas and I've been contracted to help several consumers to remove IE 9, Assistive Technology is having a hard time with IE 9, Freedom Scientific, Aisquared and Window Eye claim that they are compatible with IE 9, but you know that's not true. I wonder what's going to happen with Windows 8 and IE 10. Not that I know of, but since it stopped talking while the updates were installing I am not sure. I keep my computer updated, and I don't yet have IE 9, nor do I plan to get it as it has received bad reviews from most of the blind community. I have a friend who bought a new computer, and it is on that machine as part of its package, but she doesn't care for it. You have to press alt-end to reveal the buttons on a website, but I don't know of any way to get back to IE 8..
