Actually I meant Bedford limestone from Indiana from Misssipian limestone, about 250 million years old.The marks are suggestive of tidal ripples. The same area limestone is famous for oolites or oolitic limestone referring to tiny egg-like granules formed in very shallow supersaturated tidal waters. Similar limestone in Kentucky has drastic cross-bedding several feet high. I've seen quite a few of these features over the years having surveyed more than thirty miles of caves.

Sorry to burst yer bubble but when we did the restoration in the 1990's they found the original quarry in Indiana which had filled in with water and then worked one very nearby. So I am pretty sure it is Indiana.

I believe I learned in geology 101 that The Empire State Building was made
of New Bedford limestone, for what it's worth. Nice house.
