Went to Glass House this weekend, and Philip Johnson built a little pipe frame in the outline of a house, covered with chain link.  Then he grew vines until they covered it.   Our spec writing teacher told us that doctors bury their mistakes, lawyers send theirs to jail, and architects plant ivy around them.  It was news to us, then.

Good enough for him, good enough for me.   Why don't you go kill a geranium or something? As it happens, I hate gerania, which could be related to their having been, in my yout', my mother's favorite plant material.  Thanks for the suggestion.
