Hi Phil,

I need to install Skype.

It would be cool if we could have a prayer session for the EChurch group on Skype.

I mean everyone that wanted to participate, and those loving folks over-seas, as well.

I know that Donnie Parrett has his prayer group, through Skype daily.

I can't wait to get Skype installed again. I haven't used it for years.

I can also install it on my loving notebook, as well.

That has a video camera.

I wouldn't mind putting a Web camera in my desktop computer, either. lol.

Thanks.

Blessings,

Pat Ferguson

tonight we tried out skype using video cameras to talk with my son in North Carolina with his wife and their three children; our grandchildren.  I got to talk to my year and a half old grandson, whose never seen his grandfather yet but has seen his grandmother, Sandy, and he was pretty talkative for a little boy not yet 2 years of age.  My son and I bought the same 40 dollar cameras and our computer repair guy came over, I had purchased a 19 inch screen for just under 100 dollars, and he hooked up the new screen and camera and got everything tuned in and focused so we could use it free on skype.  So for the 4th of July, we talked to our grandkids out east and they got to see all of us.  You can get at least two people in view with these little inexpensive cameras and if they are kids, even more can stand in front of the camera.  It doesn't help the blind person, of course, but it was fun letting everybody see our little dogs and anything we wanted to show each other free and across the country.  The audio    is great and last week, I had my first overseas prayer session using skype audio and it worked perfectly; just like being on a phone.  It has much better audio than my magic jack did, too.  So it was fun trying it out together and letting everybody talk as they wished rather than one by one on a standard landline telephone.
