In yet another amazing twist in this story: Apparently Mr. powerful operating beyond any man's advice has done it again;

“President Yahya Jammeh made this move without consulting the Attorney General or the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry,”

“So now that this announcement was made, he (Jammeh) was confronted by his legal aides who made it clear to him that those hotels and other businesses were owned by private investors and not the government of Libya. And that therefore it will be impossible for the Gambia to freeze them.”

According to our source, Yahya Jammeh is now said to have secretly revoked his own orders without making it public.The source added that the owners of those Libyan hotels are however preparing to sue the Gambia government for “illegally” taking over their businesses...

Phew!!!! another embarrassing episode for our country!!!
