I’m not game to ask about blue feelers, walkers and redbones !!!

Glad to hear I hadn’t missed out on some crucial piece of knowledge growing up.  After all, we had an Australian terrier when I was a child, and Australian cattle dogs (aka kelpies) are almost iconic …

Cheers

David:

You are qualified to wonder because of where you live. Australian shepherds are of a N American breed, way back in time probably a mix of Border collie and who knows what else. They have a slightly off status much like blue feelers, walkers and redbones. They are all working dogs.

Anyway, for Jack to say hello to another city and probably jobless dog seemed like the friendly thing to do.

Cheers!

What on earth is an Australian shepherd?

Assuming that it is a dog, I’ve never heard of the variety …
