Re: [BP] Hati It’s obvious to me that the only place you may have been in Haiti is Club Med if you think Delta housing makes Haiti look like paradise.
In the Delta are there any roads, bridges, stop signs/lights, sewers, electricity, food stamps etc. etc. etc.?
No the analogy is not fair.

Maybe the analogy is not fair; the Mississippi Delta which has some of the largest pockets of minority poverty in the United States has never been affected by any US business plan; any training program; any grant subsidies any tax incentives; any free hospitalisations,free day care; extended unemployment; or jump start boots on the ground houses for humanity ;.Benie Thompson one of the most powerful congressmen from the area and of the US ;(see homeland security) runs it like a feudal fiefdom ; the money comes in and it still after 40 years since schools were integrated  the future is bleak and blighted with people living in housing that makes Haiti look like paradise ....if we can't get it done here ..how are we going to get it done for Haiti /M
