Can't a guy get a decent game of Skee Ball (invented 1914) in this town any more?

When I was in my 20s there were several disreputable arcades in Times Square - "Playland" e.g. - which had Skee Ball, rifle range ("real bullets"), day-old hot dogs, Pokerino, make-a-record, photo booth so small girl would have to sit so tight on your lap pregnancy was a concern,  pin ball games, tired old men, etc.

Nothing like that left in Manhattan now?        Christopher
c,

For your fix you may have to go to the burbs to a Dave & Buster's - the first one I found was at the Pyramid Mall up near West Nyack. I happened to be there to look at possibly waterproofing giant skylights dripping on Wendy's. I carry a pool cue in the truck and saw that they had pool tables. But that is where you will find the arcade. As to Skee Ball, call first. Dave & Buster's Video Game Arcade | Video Games and Family Fun in Our Famous Arcade! http://bit.ly/5l1MxM
