I'm glad it is looking good Pat that is scary.  Father in Heaven we thank you for giving Vernon a perfect record of health and for finding and stopping the bleeding.  For doing all this we give you praise.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.

Subject: My loving Vernon

Dear Loving Ones

Thanks so much for praying for my loving Vernon.

Vernon is home now, after his second stay in the hospital in Huron, SD. We brought him home last Thursday evening, and then during the night, I called his doctor at the hospital, as he was still passing blood and so at the doctor's request, we called an ambulance, and they took him to the Huron Hospital again.

They prepared him for another colonoscopy, which they did on Friday morning. He had to drink that gallon of stuff again. They put an NG tube up his nose, and down his throat, to see if the bleeding was from somewhere else, but they found no bleeding in the upper stomach. He hated the NG tube. Then, on Friday morning, at 6:30, they did the Colonoscopy, and found two more Pollups, so they took them, and they cardarized one of the places that was bleeding, and the other place was already clotted, so they did not do anything, Vernon saw the whole thing on the screen.

They kept him on liquids until Sunday evening. On Sunday morning, things started to move and all looked great with no blood at all. Vernon and his doctor and all the nurses were so very happy.

He got home on Monday afternoon. Things are still not back to normal, as he hasn't gone yet, so we don't know if there will be any blood or not, but I'm praying for no blood to pass at all, and for everything to return to normal.

He will have a CT scan tomorrow morning to see if there is any cancer anywhere. Please pray that there is no cancer at all.

He will see his oncologist next Thursday, November 5th.

He has lost about 6 lbs.

He still isn't feeling the greatest, but he is working, and it will take time for his blood to build back, as his Hemoglobin went down to eight. Please pray that it will come back up again very soon, and that he will return to excellent health.

I'm quite anxious about all of this, but I'm trying to remain calm, and I'm relying on strength from our loving Heavenly Father.

I am trusting in Jesus for a complete healing for Vernon.

Thank you all for praying.

Loving you all bunches,

Pat Ferguson

Dear Pat,

I hope things are going okay. I just read your emails about Vernon. I hope he is home by now and feeling better.

It sounds like you are keeping a good attitude through all of this. Wanted you to know that I am thinking about you and praying for you.

Love, Bernard

Hi Loving Ones,
I want to thank you all for all the sweet and loving emails, and phone calls, and for praying for my loving Vernon.
i thought I would update you on Vernon's progress.
The bleeding has slowed down, and he is doing quite well. A loving friend took me to see him today. He is in excellent spirits, and if all goes well, he could come home tomorrow.
I hope they put him on solid foods, first to see how he does before they send him home.

Everyone has been so kind and loving and helpful with things I've needed to get done.
God is so very Mercifull and Loving!
Thank you all for your love and prayers.
Loving you all bunches,
Pat Ferguson
