Hi Sharon, In addition to what I wrote previously, I'd like to add that Fix-It or Avast may be the cause of your problems. Fix-It maybe, but not because it's "worthless" ,but because it has an Anti Virus, as well as an Anti-Malware/Spyware component, which may very well conflict with Avast. (or vice versa) IOW, I don't recommend having the AV being active in Fix-It ,if you are running Avast. Seems I come to the same conclusions as Hugh Vandevoort, but for totally different reasons. ;) Peter E. > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: [PCSOFT] computer crashing > From: Sharon Cox <[log in to unmask]> > Date: Wed, September 30, 2009 6:31 pm > To: [log in to unmask] > > > i run xp, advast, fix it utility. something is making my computer crash, or either it will lock up. i ran antivirus and disk fix it, i looked in the control panel for changes and i can't find nothing that is causing this. how do i fix it. > > Do you want to signoff PCSOFT or just change to > Digest mode - visit our web site: > http://freepctech.com/pcsoft.shtml Do you want to signoff PCSOFT or just change to Digest mode - visit our web site: http://freepctech.com/pcsoft.shtml
