Any leads or typically entertaining ideas  would be much appreciated.

Before (I think) you impudently signed on to the list, we were having a discussion of the beauty of the impressions of (accidentally) fallen leaves on the wet concrete of a sidewalk.   We got all teary-eyed, and then someone made a sarcastic remark, and we lost another two or three subscribers.

PS  Should I fix the cellar storm on dfi doors the quick and dirty way, or the "right" way?   The difference is one or two short sails at sunset.
