ML you know I avoid responding to those who find it too easy to call others hypocrites. But since you are my clan-mate, albeit far away one, i will hasten to remind you that, you have no such power to brand me a hypocrite. My recommendation to UDP/NRP is out the quest for them to solidly exercise their role as a main opposition party. I am not one who hide his feelings especially political ones. Whenever and whichever party i feel has the propensity to alter the current system, i will give it my undivided support. What is clear now for all to see is simply that, the system in the Gambia is not even suitable for oppositions contesting elections. The opposition need first rectifying the erroneous system. The Constitution is faulty, the playing field unfavourable, the security apparatus heavily involve in party politics and many more problems. Those calling for unity to fight the election are missing the point that, unless the system can accommodate a free and fair election, all that is happening is legitimising a dictatorship. I will further give my opinion to UDP/NRP any time. If you find that being hypocritical, then i urge you to sound it even louder.
