Gives me an idea to increase readership for my weekly column.  You may  singlehandedly save the NY Times.   Per diem plus travel? Cents per click-through?  Or contingent fee?
Sorry, christopher, no ivy here, just original clapboard in stunningly good condition for this west coast rain region.  However there is a great Egyptian Revival office building in Victoria that is so covered with ivy that the only clue to its elegant style is the battering of the exterior walls.
Address or other identifier please?  I want to look it up on the web or google streetviews or whatever.

As long as you mentioned of Egyptian:  http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/21/realestate/21scapes.html.  See mustard-colored terra cotta bulls in slide show.   Next week:  Frank Lloyd Wright's original blue/peach/pink/red designs for the Guggenheim.  Not to mention the "inverted jello" design.
